The Cambridge City School District hired a new head coach to lead the Bobcat volleyball program. Crissy Booth was approved as the new Cambridge varsity volleyball head coach. She replaces Debbie McClarren, who resigned after 4 years of leading the CHS volleyball program.
Aaron Quinn, CHS Athletic Director, shared his thoughts on the new coach, “We are excited to add Crissy to our coaching staff at Cambridge. Coach Booth brings success both as a player and coach. She also has many positive relationships already established with some of our players during her time with East Ohio Force.”
Coach Booth shares Quinn’s excitement, “I am humbled by this opportunity to be Head Volleyball Coach at Cambridge High School. I’m excited to get started building a strong program that has already had much success. The girls are already working hard and with their dedication to the team we will have a great season.”
Cambridge Athletics is also pleased to have one of their own returning home. Marlo Taylor will be stepping into the JV coaching role as well as a full time position in the classroom. Taylor is a 2017 CHS graduate and just finished her education degree at Marietta College.
