Game 1

Keaton Kyser didn’t allow a single run against River View, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Cambridge Bobcats JV to a 1-0 victory on Saturday

The pitching was strong on both sides. Kyser struck out six, while Emig sat down ten.
Cambridge Bobcats JV opened up scoring in the first inning.  Trey Stottsberry hit a solo homer.
A single by Emig in the first inning was a positive for River View.
Kyser got the start for Cambridge Bobcats JV. The righty lasted six innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out six.
Emig toed the rubber for River View. The bulldog went six innings, allowing one run on five hits, striking out ten and walking one.
Cambridge Bobcats JV smacked one home run on the day. Stottsberry had a long ball in the first inning.

Cambridge Bobcats JV racked up five hits.  Stottsberry and Adam Smith all managed multiple hits for Cambridge Bobcats JV.  Smith and Stottsberry each collected two hits to lead Cambridge Bobcats JV.  Cambridge Bobcats JV was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Beau Stottsberry had the most chances in the field with seven.

Championship Game

Davion Jeffrey didn’t allow a single run against Lakewood, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Cambridge Bobcats JV to a 10-0 victory on Saturday

Cambridge Bobcats JV secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the third inning.  The offensive onslaught came from singles by Jeffrey and Trey Stottsberry, a home run by Beau Stottsberry, and a double by Adam Smith.
Cambridge Bobcats JV put up seven runs in the third inning.  Smith, Stottsberry, Jeffrey, and Stottsberry all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
A single by Tichenoe in the second inning was a positive for Lakewood.
Jeffrey led things off on the mound for Cambridge Bobcats JV. The pitcher went five innings, allowing zero runs on four hits, striking out 11 and walking zero.
Pierce was on the hill for Lakewood. The hurler lasted three innings, allowing ten hits and eight runs while striking out three.  Christman threw one inning in relief.
Cambridge Bobcats JV smacked one home run on the day. Stottsberry put one out in the third inning.

Cambridge Bobcats JV collected 13 hits.  Keaton Kyser, Stottsberry, Smith, and Jeffrey each racked up multiple hits for Cambridge Bobcats JV.  Kyser went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Cambridge Bobcats JV in hits.  Cambridge Bobcats JV didn’t commit a single error in the field. Caden Moore had the most chances in the field with 11.
